WELLINGTON, December 4. Sales—New Zealand Breweries, debenture bonds, £1 5s (two lots call); £1 5s (reported). LONDON WOOL SALES. (Received December 4. 1.4 0 p.m.) LONDON. December 3. At the wool sales, there was a splendid selection of cross-breds, principally slires. There was a ltmited supply of merinos. Prices generally were steady. New Zealand Clarence made 214 d to 20id; Timaru, 18id to 18d. The Bradford market For cross-breds is extremely quiet, tending- downward. Merinos are slightly cheaper with a moderate inquiry. Quotations: —Sixtyfours. 50d • fifty-sixes, 36d; forty-sixes, 2 id.
