WHERE IS THE AWARUA? CHATHAMS DON’T KNOW.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, November 19. The Secretary of the Post and Telegraph Department received the following message from the officer in charge of the radio station, Chatham Islands:—“7.3o just returned from making inquiries re Awarua, but no definite information available. Another mesenger leaving for Whangaroa harbour, where vessel usually shelters, at daylight to-morrow. Weather and sea now moderate.*
