Mr Massey’s Peace Pen.

THE pen with which the late Prime Minister (the Right Hon \V. F. Massey) feigned the Peace Treaty, and its elaborate setting, constructed by the Post and Telegraph Department, will be transferred from the Parliamentary Library, where it has been greatly admired for over twelve months, to the Exhibition at Dunedin in a week or so. As Mr Massey was the last of thy war-time Premiers, great interest will attach to this particular

exhibit, which is held in an ornamental glass ease mounted on the lop of a simple pedestal of New Zealand woods. The pen itself rests on a polished mounting, also of New Zealand wood, into which has been inlaid at each corner crossed arms. A simple glass dome, on the top of which is a dove of peace, completes a line piece of workmanship.
