OXFORD SLACKS.
YOUNG MEN S SUIT FASHIONS. Though there have been one or two pairs of Oxford- slacks sieen in the streets of Christchurch, a reporter was informed by Mr Joe Bierman that there did not appear to be any considerable desire to adopt the new fashion in this city. Mr Bierman vreui- on to say that the stylish twobuttou sac suit being made by him was • just the thing with the young men this season. In one of the new serges, worsteds or tweeds it made a handsome suit—medium long lapel cut just long enough to hare a distinctive dressy appearance-—trousers a little wider than formerly, but not extreme. The cutter brings the waist-line in just right—doesn't get the overdone effeiuiuote effect. If you want to be as comfortable as possible and well dressed ns possible, there is nothing better to buy than a Joe liiermnn suit which be secured for as low as five guineas, though it is easily the equivalent of the ten. guinea suits made by o+her quality tailors. .Toe Biermnn’s now address is at. 599, Colombo Street, between Tuatn and St Asaph Streets, and he is open till nine o'clock on Friday nights. 6
