DRAMATIC RECITAL.
At the invitation of the Alisses Mulvany Gray, about one hundred and fifty guests assembled at the studio. Victoria Street, last evening, and were amply repaid for their courage in braving the elements by the delightful entertainment provided fer them. The programme opened with a representation of John Drink water's short tragedy, “X-O: A Night of the Trojan War,” the parts being enacted by Aliss Irene Mulvany Gray (Pronax), Aliss .Helen Cane (Salvius), Aliss Janet Clarkson (Sentinel), Miss Edna Gill (Greek Servant), Aliss Hilda Mulvany Gray (Iluf), Miss Roma Carey (Capys). At the conclusion of the play, which occupied about half-an-hour, a short lecture on “The Art. of the Dance” was given by Aliss I. Mulvany Gray, and illustrated by a neo-classic dance, “The Dryads,” by Aliss Alary Clifton Alogg. a mimetic dance, “The Huntress,,” by the lecturer, and a Russian Mazurka by Alisses Helen Cane and AI. Clifton Mogg. After refreshments had been served, a collection was made in aid of St Luke’s Building Fund. Amongst those present were: Airs F. N.
