Montana, states that portions of the States ot Montana, Wyoming, Idaho and Washington, representing the nation’s playground, were harassed by earthquakes for four hours on Saturday night. No fatalities arc reported, but traffic on one of the trans-Continental rai’ways is suspended owing to avalanches brought down by the quakes and the collapse of a tunnel. Thousands of people rushed panicstricken into the streets of the different cities, where at the First tremor half a dozen buildings were demolished.
