The Malvern Sub-Union wrote asking for a match against the holders of the Delargpy Shield on August IS. Tt was decided to forward the challenge to the Ellesmere Sub-Union. The St Martins Residents’ Association wrote asking if the union would receive a deputation to discuss the matter of dressing sheds for tile pi a vers of Rugby in Opawa-Waltham Park. Tt was agreed to receive the deputation next Tuesday. The "Wellington Union wrote asking the Canterbury Union to suggest a date ior the return match. Canterhurv* Juniors v. Wellington Juniors, at Wellington. It was decided to suggest that the game be played as a curtain-raiser for the Wei 1 i ngton-Ca liter bury senior match on August 8. With reference to the proposed tour of an Australian hockey team, the Canterbury Hockey Association wrote asking for permision to use Lancaster Park oval on August .1. prior to the Rugby game against Southland. The association asked for a grant of £SO, as was made on a previous occasion. It was decided to allow the match to he played as a curtain-raiser to tlm representative game, and to assist the association in other directions. T-. J\ loo, T’ referee in the Riecarton v.
