At least sixteen persons were killed and scores were injured when a passenger train was wrecked near Hackettstown, New Jersey, early this morning, during an electrical storm. . The tracks were twisted by lightning and undermined by rains and caused the smash. The passengers were mostly aliens, who intended sailing to-day for Europe. • ~T h<p were asleep when the crash came, and fought madly in the steam-filled cars. . e"o ter :l .'
