Developments, which occurred during the week-end. have changed the delaying of the steamer Monaro from being an isolated case of Union interference to one affecting inter-State shipping policy. J t is now believed in maritime circles that this dispute will lead to a climax in the tangled affairs of the waterfront. The Melbourne Steamship Company has decided to pay off the Monaro's crew, and to tie the vessel up. NINETY MEN WANTED. (Received June 15, 10.40 a.m.) SYDNEY. June 15. In response, to an advertisement for seamen to man the steamers Eromanga and Dilga at Cockatoo Island, a few men have applied. Hopes are now entertained that the whole ninety required will be forthcoming.
