Senior-Sergeant Lewin said that the accused had occupied a room with another man in a city private hotel. About eight o’clock on the morning of May 20, the accused was found rolling m pain on his bed. It was said that he had taken rat poison. When his

room-fellow went over to him, he tried to get possession of a razor. . The accused: I took tHe poison, but I did not mean to kill myself Accused was remanded to appear ne*Saturday, in the meantime remaining under medical supervision.
