THEATRE ROYAL.
SIR HARRY LATHER. There was not a vacant seat at the Theatre Royal last evening when another performance was given by Sir • Harry Tan tier and liis company of vaudeville artists. As lias been the case all through his Christchurch season, lie received a great welcome when he appeared before the audience. His first number was a decided success, and the recalls were many and insistent throughout the entertainment. Sir Harry spared no pains to provide his audience with a first-class performance, and his character study, songs and remarks were fully appreciated, j Included in the supporting company | i.; Mr "NY. V. Robinson, a Canadian entertainer, who gives a musical turn on j the mouth organ. In addition, lie tells a number of enjoyable stories. The ; Hilo Duo are experts on flic steel | guitar and the ukulele, their playing j in concerted numbers being very good, j Eddy Gray keeps his hoops moving in all directions, and his juggling provides 1 good entertainment. Lydia Carne and Jack Ivellaway dance in an original manner, and amazing tricks are done by Harry Moore with paper posters. A matinee will be held this afternoon, and the final performance will take place at eight o’clock to-night-
