ECHO OF DIVORCE CASE.

Vjeh Press Association. WELLINGTON, May 4. The bankruptcy of George Vance Shannon was again before the Supreme Court to-day, when an application was made to Sir Robert Stout for discharge. 11 will be remembered that the only proved creditor was Matteo Sarciche. who secured a verdict from Shannon of £ISOO damages in divorce proceedings. Mr Macassey, for Sarciche, opposed the discharge unless some reasonable offer of settlement was made. There was prospect of Shannon coming into money, which Sarciche would have no opportunity of getting. Sir Robert Stout allowed an adjournment, although he did not know whether an extension would be of any assistance to the creditor.
