TAUNT OF “ COWARD ” LEADS TO DEATH. LONDON, January 28. “ I know I 11 die. but I am satisfied. I have shown people I can fight. A boy called me a ‘ funk ’ and a coward.” According to evidence given at the inquest, this was what Russell Joseph Winter, fifteen, a schoolboy of Bev tonstone, told hi s mother when he came home from school on January 23 with a cut lip. A doctor was summoned, but the boy bled to death. The inquest was adjourned for the empanelling of a jury to consider the evidence.
