CANTERBURY CENTRE. The committee of the Canterbury Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association met last night. Present—Messrs. C. S. M’Cully (chairman), C. H. Taylor, G. G. Lockwood. R. Beattie, G. Graham, E. H. Cross, tV. Flewellyn, F\ Hutton, and B. S. Hammonds. A letter was received from the council of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association stating that, subject to acceptance of the arranged terms, the Australian athletes would appear in Christchurch on Saturday, March 7.
