GARDEN PARTY.
Mrs Bowker's pretty garden at lire Elms, 354, Durham Street, will be the scene of a garden party to-mor-row afternoon, from 3 to G p.m., arranged by the Guild of St Aidan (connected with St Duke’s Church),‘on behalf of the North China Mission. Mr Burkett’s pupils will give a gymnastic display, and there will be games and competitions for boys and girls. Chie shilling pays for admission, and afternoon tea and strawberries and cream, ices, sweets, etc., will be on sale at popular prices.
