CAN ENGLAND BEAT THEM?
RUGBY CRITICS AT HOME DISCUSS CHANCES. Ey Telegraph.—Press Association.—Copyright.—Sydney "Sun” Cable. (Received November 10, 11 a.m.) LONDON, November 0. The “Star" says: “It is reassuring, if strange, to learn that leading Rugby men are confident that England will beat the All Blacks in January, despite the New Zealanders' formidable qualities. England should be able to get forwards sufficiently skilful to dominate the game, judging by what the packs of less expert teams have accomplished against the tourists. English backs ought to be available as resourceful in attack as the New Zealanders.”
