DAMAGE IN AUSTRALIA. Australian and N.Z. tioif ”* * DA fhe rain continued over-night and caused serious flood-. Many narrow escapes have been recorded. Torrential rains yesterday covered portions of the wheat area, where crops were levelled and seiious damage to the grain is anticipated. Bathurst and Dubbo report that the lower portions of the towns are undc~ water. The rivers are rising rapidlv in mai.v places. CYCLONES AND GALES. -vIEI.BOI RXE. November 0 Floods are reported over a tvide area and there have been many wash-outs on the railways. A boy named Stuart Mill has been drowned. Fhe floods were accompanied by cyclonic winds.
