She left an estate in excess of 4.000,000 dollars, mostly the result of Wall Street investments. After setting aside nominal sums for relatives, the will provides hundreds of thousands of dollars for the care of animals, needy actors and actresses and discharged convicts, and also for the establishment of a trust for sick and maimed soldiers in the Great War and the provision of free beds and attendance for the sick poor.
