Cable advice has been received by the New Zealand Shipping Company that, the Remuera sailed from Southampton on Thursday last for Wellington Lyttelton and Timaru. The vessel, which is bringing passengers, mails and cargo, i a due at Wellington about October 30. The C. and D. line has been advised that, the steamer Port Chalmers sailed from New York on Thursday with cargo for discharge at Auckland. Wellington. Lyttelton, Dunedin. Timarti and Bluff. The vessel is due at Auckland about October 25. and. after completing discharge at Bluff, is to load frozen meat for Genoa at Auckland. Wellington. Napier and GieTofua left Suva on Friday for Auckland, where she is due on Wednesday next. Maunganui, which left Wellington on September 16. cleared Papeete on Tuesday, and is due at San Francipco on October 8. Niagara, which left Vancouver on September 24. is due at. Honolulu on Wednesday. and at Auckland on October *l3. Hauraki. which left Auckland on Sentember 23. is due at Fanning Island on October 6. Waiotapu Is loading at Pacific ports and is expected to clear San Francisco this week for Auckland, Lyttelton, Melbourne and Sydney.

Waikawa. en route from Suva with a cargo of sugar, is due at Vancouver about October 5. After discharge she will load at Pacific Roast ports during October for Napier, New' Plymouth and Dunedin.

An arrival at Auckland on Thursday was the Federal S.N. Company’s steamer Orari from Liverpool. The vessel will put out cargo at Auckland, and will then come on to Wellington, where she is due in about nine days. She will be delayed at the northern port owing to damage occasioned to cargo during the passage of the Atlantic. Advice has been received that the West Tslip flailed from San Francisco on September 13 with cargo for discharge at Auckland. Lyttelton and Dunedin. The vessel is expected to arrive at Auckland about. October 8.

The Union Company advises that the British India steamer Gambadda, en route from Calcutta to Auckland, via Australian ports, is expeced to leave Sydney for Auckland about the end of this month. She is therefore due at Auckland about October 6.
