CRICKETER’S WEDDING.

P. G. H. FENDER MARRIED. BRIDE WEARING A . MONOCLE.

LONDON, September 17. P. G. H. Fender, the noted Surrey cricketer, was married to-day to Mis: Ruth Clapham, ;

keen follower of cricket, at Frin-ton-on-Sea. The ceremony was performed by the Rev F. H. Gillingham, who for several years was a cricketer of some merit, having played in the Gentlemen v. PI avers matches in 1908, 1919 and 1920.

The bride wore a manor-19. Many cricketers sent the bride and bridegronm presents and congratulations. Fender's engagement was announced in July.
