FOUND DROWNED.
Per Press Association - . BLENHEIM, September 30. Thomas Herd, aged sixtj'-one, a ■widower, with eight children, disappeared last evening. The police discovered the body in a pool in the Taylor River with a bag of stones tied round the neck. Deceased had been suffering for years from an incurable disease.
