VETERANS V. VANBRUGHBOUCICAULT COMPANY. The following will play for the Veterans* Cricket Club v. Vanbrugh-Bou-cicault Company on Thursday, at Hagley Park, at 2 p.m.—Butler, Brook. Fleming. Frampton, Fox, Feary, Lawrence, White. Harris, Cook. Hubbard, Murray, Henderson and Holtz. MALVERN ASSOCIATION. The annual meeting of the Malvern Cricket Association was held at Darfield recently, the following clubs being represented:—Greendale, Kirwee, Darfield, and Sheffield. The president, Mr R. G. Robinson, presided. The election of officers resulted:— Patrons, Sir R. Heaton Rhodes M.P., Messrs G. Witty M.P., H. M. Reeves; president, Mr R. G. Robinson; vice-pre-sidents, Messrs J. W. Warren, B. C. Rutherford, S. R. Wright, G. Wright. G. Gillanders, T. Mulholland and A. Bulnois; delegate to C.A.C., Mr R. H. North; auditor, Mr G. Early; hon sec and treasurer, Mr W. Summerville; advisory and selection committee, Messrs J. Gunn, W. Deal and W. Summerville. The opening date of the shield competition was fixed for October 4.
