FLOWER SHOW.

The second day of the Canterbury Horticultural Society’s spring flower show is being held to-day at the Art Gallery. The show w-ill remain open until 10 o'clock to-night. The attendances this year have been much better than they were last year. The exhibits, too, are better and more numerous, notwithstanding the society’s loss this year of a number of entries from the Hororata district. In addition to the awards published yesterday the Royal Horticultural Society have presented a silver medal to Mr R. Gibson, of Manaia, for his wonderful exhibit of narcissi.
