COLLISION WITH TELEPHONE POLE. j Early this morning as a motor-car I vas being driven along Healey Avenue, * the driver, in attempting to drive over ' a bridge into a iiou.se, misjudged his 1 distance, missed the bridge and col- t lided with a telephone pole. As a re- i suit of the impact the car was swung t broadside across the footpath and was I very seriously damaged. The front i near side mud-guard was badly * crumpled, the. front wheel smashed, t and other wheels badly buckled and i dented. The body work also was 1 damaged, hut the driver .escaped with- £ out serious injury. L
