BANK OF N.Z. DANCE.
The annual dance of the Bank of New Zealand, which has come to take a big place in the social activities of Christchurch, was held in the Winter Garden last evening. The hall was decorated with baskets of grape vines suspended from the ceiling and clusters of made fruits were placed at intervals round the room. The intervals between the dances were kept commendably short, so that there were no dull or dragging moments. Bailey’s Band provided music during the evening. The committee who were responsible for the success of tlie evening comprised Misses I. . Hannay and Hazel Halliday, Messrs J. Mann, A. D. Milne, B. Wylie, C. E. Ayers and W. Ibbotson.
