DREAM TRAGEDY COMES TRUE.
How a dream led to tbe discovery of a tragedy was described at a Taunton inquest on Henry Wide, a butcher, wh > was found hanging from a beam. Henry Baker, also a butcher, who made the discovery, said that overnight he dreamt that he saw Wide;, who had taught him his trade twenty years ago, hanging as described. He awoke with a start- at three ’n. the morning, could not again sleep, and was so impressed by his dream that lie got up and went to the left at the back of the premises. There he found Wide banging by a rope from a rafter. At first he thought Wide was standing up. and he called, “ Hullo, whab are you doing up there Receiving no reply, he found that the man was dea d. The widow said that her husband, who had served in the war. suffered from shell-shock. A verdict that Wide had hanged himself while temporarily insane was returned by the Coroner.
