BOYS’ HIGH SCHOOL.
SLOW WORK ON NEW BUILDING. It was hoped that the new Boys’ High School building, in Harakeke Street, Riccarton, -would be ready for occupation at the beginning of the first school term next year, but there does not seem to be much prospect of the expectations being fulfilled. It may be towards the middle of the year before completion ia reached. Reinforced concrete has been laid down on about half of the first floor, and men now' are doing the second part of that floor.
