WARD ELECTIONS.

EDUCATION BOARD VACANCIES. The Canterbury Education Board •lections will be held to-morrow Messrs J. <L Gow (Timaru urban area) H. J. Bignell (north west ward of rural area), and G. W. Armitage (south ward of rural area) have been elected unopposed for their districts. The following are the condidates for the other wards : Christchurch urban area (two members) —Emily Anne Chaplin, Walter Johnson, Arthur Peverill and Clifford Simeon Thompson. Middle ward of rural area (one memher) —Arthur Joslin Bell, William George Chapman and Win. Pritchard Spencer. The poll will close at 5 p.m.
