At most of the- weekly rneerings of the Christchurch .Railway Ambulance Division of the Sfc John Ambulance Brigade, the time is devoted chiefly to first-aid work, bub on Monday evening a departure was made from this, when Mrs M. Pyne and Miss F. F. Cooper, of the district staff, gave a demonstration of roller bandaging. The demonstrators explained the many uses of the roller bandage, and the method of application, emphasising the fact that if the bandage was applied correctly and firmly, it would not slip, but would keep a dressing in place, and would give coinfo and support to an injured part, etc. Members then practised the various bandages they had been shown, and the evening closed by a vote of thanks being passed to the demonstrators, and carried by acclamation.
