Hew son) reported upon the matter. Owing to there being doubt as to identity of the players concerned no action was taken. In regard to difficulty of obtaining conveyances for junior and lower grade mate-lies on Saturday, June 7,.the delegates reported that there was little possibility of securing drags. It was stated, however, that there would probably be no difficulty in Methven and Rakaia coming in to play at AshburIt was decided to. defer the decision until replies were received from these two clubs, as to their likelihood of being able to make the trip.

It was decided to treat as confidential all matters of finance, such as each Sa tut clay’s gate takings, except in the case of the union's monthly statement.

Owing to the school holidays the fourth grade matches set down for Saturday were postponed. It wa» decided that all matches, unless otherwise ordered, shall commence at 1 30 p.m. or S p.m. ’as may be arranged. and that it be the duty of rete ees to see tba* all matches commenced pureimiily. Any team unable or unwilling to begin at the hour appointed shall be deemed to have lost the match, except ,in the case of teams from a distance, when reasonable delay is to he aih^ved.
