MR CONNOLLY AT AUCKLAND. TRIBUNAL TO BE SET UP EARLY. PER Press Association. • AUCKLAND, May 19. Mr M. Connolly, president Of the A.S.R.S., at a meeting of the Auckland branch, referred to the report that the Department contemplated putting the men back on the 48-liour week. He said that a tribunal, the personnel of which had been submitted to the society, would be set up early to go into the questions of wages and conditions. After hearing Mr Connolly, Messrs Stanley and Elliot, executive councillors, the meeting adopted a resolution of continued confidence in the national executive.
