AUCKLAND TRAGEDY. Pbu Press As*ociation AUCKLAND, May 17. John Andrew Fox, a taxi driver, was sentenced in the Supreme Court to twelve months’ imprisonment on a charge of manslaughter arising out of the death of Constable Todd through a collision with a Chinaman's cart in Onehunga. Judge Stringer passed severe strictures on the negligence and recklessness of motor drivers and said that accidents were occurring every day.
