WOMAN’S POOR AIM. CHICAGO, April 20Wanda Stopu, a stonograpuer, who danced hi “ far Into Bonemia,” this week provided Chicago with one of the most thrilling murders it has known for months. Tilt girl had been sharing a studio with Keuley Smith, an advertising agent, and .she wrote lovo letters to him in shorthand. When Smith tired of her she decided to kill him, his wife, and herself. On Tuesday, armed with a largo revolver, the girl sought the Smitiiss l«iko:.i*!•;> cfcttage. but the bullets she aimed at them killed Kouald Tanning, their faithful gardener. 'The police hunted her for four days, and to-night found her dead—a suicide ;in a downtown hotel. She left j voluminous shorthand notes, regretting that she had not killed the Smiths.
