It is a very great mistake to neglect I persrrration stains, a? if these are not treated quickly a permanent mark results: —especially in the caso of delioate|ly coloured fabric. i Soak the affected part in cold water ! for about ten minutes. Then dabble a little frc*h lemon juice on it, leave for about a minute, and rinse well. REMOVING IHF. LEMON JUICE. If the first application is not successful the treatment may be repeated, although the lemon juice should not he left on too long, as it might affect the dye iu a coloured material. In all cases a very thorough rinsing is needed in order to remove every trace of the lemon juice.
