ALLEGED ADULTERY.
Per Pnss Asoociatiox. PALMKRSTON NORTH, May 15. A defended divorce action, which i* expected to last several days, has commenced in the Supreme Court. The petitioner, Percy Phillip Stevens, auctioneer, of Feilding, i» seeking a dissolution of bis marriage with Alice Juliet Stevens on the grounds of alleged adultery with John G Blackwell, a taxi-driver, of Marton, and also with Neil "Whisker, a railway employee, of Hamilton, and formerly of Palmerston North. Further grounds are that the parties have been separated -for more than three years. Respondent and co-respondents deny the allegations of audlterv, but respondent admits the separation, which she alleges to be due to the conduct «»f petitioner. Counsel for petitioner said that it was alleged that respondent committed adultery with Blackwell, at Morton, about March, April, or May, jn 1923, and with Whisker about June, July or August, in 1923, at Palmerston North. The case is proceeding.
