If the police carry out their decision to hold a procession, the Home Secretary will refuse to see them; and if they decide to strike, the Minister will resist it. The Acting Premier stated that, tho Cabinet had decided that, if the police made a demonstration to secure redress of their alleged grievances, the Government will be compelled to regard the action as an unfair attempt to force a decision.
