POLICE PROCESSION.
“ REFUSE TO SEE THEM.” GOVERNMENT’S DECISION. By Telegraph— Press Association—Copyright Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received May 14, 10.25 a.m.) BRISBANE. May 14. If the police carry out their decision to hold a procession, the Home Secretary will refuse to see them; and if they decide to strike, the Minister will resist it. The Acting Premier stated that, tho Cabinet had decided that, if the police made a demonstration to secure redress of their alleged grievances, the Government will be compelled to regard the action as an unfair attempt to force a decision.
