He then shot himself twice in the head and fell beside the girls’ bed. The sister was awakened by the revolver shots, and on going to the door, stumbled over Lord’s body. She then found that Doris had been shot. Both died shortly after. Lord had been keeping company with Doris for several months, but yesterday she told him that she did not want to see him again.
