RACE FIXED FOR JUNE.

Per Press Association. DARGA V.I37LE. May 13. The Australasian championship sculling; race has been definitely fixed for June 7 over a course of three and a quarter miles on the Northern Wairoa River. A stake oi £SOO has been subscribed locally. The present entrants are AV. M'Devitt, George Ceruti - (Australia), AV. Mason (Whangarei), and Darcy Had field (Auckland). Inquiries have been made by prominent Australian scullers and it is ex pected that at least seven competitors will, start. .M’Devitt. Ceruti and Mason are already training on the river. Harifield is expected this week.
