POSITION HOPELESS. ATTEMPT TO BE MADE TO SALVAGE MAILS. Per PTtv.su Association. GREYMOUTH, Mav 13. The Ngaher© lies in n hopeless position with n slight list to port. There is very small prospect of anv salvage. Attempts will he made to salvage the mai-ls and the crew’s effects, when the sea moderates. A preliminary inquiry will take place this afternoon.
