The Metropolitan Queensland police Union has decided (says a Brisbane message! that members of the Union, both those on and those off duty, shall form a procession which will march to the Treasury to interview the Home Secretary. The avowed intention is that the demonstration shall be a peaceful one, and that the sole object shall be the registration of grievances under which the force is labouring. Should this decision be carried into effect, the streets of Brisbane will be without police protection during the procession.
