BOWLING TOURNAMENT.
LADIES' DAY. The United Bowling green was the setting for a pleasant afternoon yesterday, -when the visiting ladies were entertained at afternoon tea. The guests were received by Mr and Mrs John Brown, Mr Brown being president of the New Zealand Bowling Association. Mrs Brown wore a costume of black marocain, and a black hat trimmed with radium lace and a largered rose on the brim. Among those present were:—Mrs J. R. Jack (Wanganui ), Mrs M.
