TRIAL AGREED TO.
TROTTING SENSATION. THE CASE OF KINGSDALE. Per Pints* Association*. DUNEDIN. January 12. W. Cameron, owner of Kingsdale, received a telegram from the Trotting Association requesting him to ride Kingsdale in a trial in the presence of officials of the Gore Racing Club. In reply, Messrs Solomon. Gascoigne and Sinclair, Cameron’s solicitors, hare wired that Cameron is willing to ride a trial in the presence of Gore officials, on a grass track, preferably at Gore, actual expenses to be paid and a pacer provided, Cameron to have possession of the horso for a week to prepare. ANOTHER CASE ALLEGD. Per Press Association’. DUNEDIN, January 12. It is understood that the man in charge of the arrested animal Look Out made a statement to an official, which he later repeated to the police, denying any knowledge of the alleged malpractice. He is also understood to hare given further particulars about another trotting horse which has been under suspicion for some time and which was supposed to be dead. He asserted that he had seen the allegedly dead horse in a northern trainer's stable about eight days before.
