The local detective force has ryot-hing fresh to record as regards the ringing-in of Willie Lincoln as Loolr Out at the Wyndhara and Invercargill summer meetings- The detectives are now awaiting the result of inquiries at Invercargill regarding the identification of certain persons said to have been associated with the horse when it ran at the southern meetings. Correa* poudence is also awaited from the Nenr Zealand Trotting Association. The detective force is concentrating on the Willie Lincoln-Look Out case in' the meantime. The allegations concerning Kingsdale, winner of the Balfour Trot Handicap at Gore on October 30 last, will then be investigated.
