There will fie thousands of visitors in town for the holiday season.- and the Bumner Gala, to bo held on December 28 and 29, wifi provide an opportunity for many to visit the pretty seaside suburb and have an enjoyable time. Christchurch folk themselves always look forward to Sumner’s annual ffala, and this year the committee has set out to provide an interesting programme that will fully occupy two days. Scores of attractions have been provided, including sailing and rowing races, and a display by the lifeboat brigade.
