A Vera Cruz message states: ‘‘ The Mexican Revolutionists claim that. General Obregon’s forces have been driven in, and are in general retreat to a new line, of defence, the. ba.se of operations being centred in lorobo, only thirty-five miles from Mexico City.”
An official Government communique still claims to be confident that the revolution will be quelled within a few days.
