ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES
COLLISION BETWEEN LADY CYCLISTS. Two' lady cyclists collided at the corner of Gloucester Street and CoLmbo Street at 1.45 p.m: to-day. Both were thrown from their machines, but neither was hurt, although one, who was helped into the Alasonic Hotel by passers-by, was somewhat shaken. She was concerned mostly about her evening dress, which was in a dresscase. and which the other lady inadvertently picked up and rode off with. CYCLISTS INJURED. During the progress of a road cycling race at Afarshland early last evening, two of the competitors. AY. Dickson. 47. Nursery Road. Linwoodf and AY. (rail). 23. Devon Street, Sydenham. both of whom are seventeen years of age, sustained injuries as the result of an accident. One of the wheels of Dickson's machine became broken, and he fell to the ground, receiving injuries to his face and shoulder. Craib fell on top of Dickson, and his left, shoulder and hip and his right knee were injured. They were both treated at the out-patients* department of the Christchurch Hospital.
