CURE REPORTED FROM DUNEDIN. Pra Piutas Astocixtion". DUNEDIN. December 6. To-day was the third and final day o? the Hickson healing mission. St Paul’s Cathedral was |>rckecl. women patients predominating by a majority of ten to one. Altogether over 500 patients were ministered to. One cure was reported, that of John 3't’GilL of 3Y inton. Mr 31’Gill met with a serious accident on December 20 last, a motor-car having run over him, causing severe injuries to his shoulder and knee-cap, which was fractured and had to be set three or four times. 31r 3l’Gill attended the service yesterday when he was reported to be in frightful pain and walked on crutches. As a. result oi tnc accident one of 31 r 3i’GiU’s legs was about an inch shorter than the other one. It was reported to-dav by several competent observers that as a result of 3.1 r M’Gill’s attendance at the service yesterday he was now able to walk without assistauce, and the most miraculous thing was that there was apparently no difference in the length of i his legs. 3T’Gill is stated to have walked to the Cathedral this morning to congratulate Mr Hickson for being the medium of suc-h a wonderful cure. Later particulars of 3tr 31’Gill’s injuries were verified by the patients nurse in the Invercargill Hospital. Tli© nurse had stated that 31r 31’Gill had been discharged in a hopeless condition. She did not, however, see him after his reported cure.
