Dr F. J. Borrie, Division Surgeon, presiding. Mrs H. H. Smith, lady superintendent, read the annual report, in the course of which reference was made tc the loss sustained by the division in the death of one of its members, the late Mrs Puddle. The competition squads were congratulated on the successes gained by them locally, at Timaru and Wellington, and the thanks of the divi sion were tendered to all those members who had helped to make the yeat 1923 so successful —particularly to Dr Borrie. for his services as divisional surgeon, to Mrs Bell, who was in charge of supplies, and to Alisa Donn, for hei untiring efforts in competition work The report and balance-sheet were ther adopted, the election of officers being deferred till the first meting in 1924 The evening concluded with presentations to Mrs Smith and Dr Borrie made by Miss M’Callum. who, on b& half of the members of the division, ex. pressed their appreciation of and grati tude for the work both had done fo? the division during the year.
