SHIPPING NOTES. The Turakina, at present engaged in discharging West of England cargo at Lyttelton, will be dispatched on .Saturday for Dunedin. The City of Naples did not finish her discharging yesterday and consequently will not leave Dunedin until this afternoon. Vancouver tomorrow for Honolulu, Suva, and Auckland. She is due at Auckland on December 28. ITic Gale will return to Lyttelton this morning from Timaru to complete her loading for Wellington and Wanganui. Tho Wahine was floated out of dork

yesterday at midday and berthed at the east of No. 3 wharf, where she will remain until she resumes in the ferry service on December 11. Tho Storm was clocked yesterday afternoon for cleaning and painting shortly after the Wahine had been refloated. The Wootton from Wellington is due to day to load for Wellington. The Breeze from Picton is expected here this morning. The vessel will leave this afternoon for Bluff and Dunedin. The Corinna is due on Thursday next from Timaru to load for Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth. The Holmdale will sail this evening for Wellington and Wanganui. The Opihi is an expected arrival on Saturday from Timaru. She will sail the same evening for Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth. The Waikouaiti, from Sydney via Bluff ami Dunedin, is due this morning with general Sydney cargo and a quantity of trade coal to unload here. She is expected to sail tomorrow for Timaru, where she will discharge more coal. After loading general cargo she will sail for The Ngahere from Westport and Greymouth via Wellington is duo to-morrow. She is timed to sail on Saturday for Westport. taking general cargo. The Karori. which was timed to sail tomorrow Evening from Auckland for Lyttelton. will not now leave the northern port until Saturday and should arrive hereon Wednesday next. From Lyttelton the vessel will uroceed to Dunedin and Bluff. The Kaitangata will load here to-morrow

The Waihemo from Newcastle is due on Wednesday next. Tho Kini sailed last evening for Dunedin where she will complete unloading her 'cargo of coal. The Kaiapoi from South Australian ports and Hobart is due on Wednesday. The Koniata. is due from Auckland tomorrow. She proceeds the same evening to Dunedin.
