The Republicans have a majority of seventeen in the House, there being 22*5 Republicans. 205 Democrats, one Socialist, one Independent, and one Farmer-Labour member. Two vacancies are to be filled at byelections. The Ku Klux Klan, strangely, won a rictorv in Ohio, the greater number of the candidates for local offices that it endorsed, being elected.
